HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE FOUND WELL IN OTHER AREAS AND IN GOOD CONDITION. BACK TO YOU. JEFF: THE BRUSHFIRE FORCED MANDATORY EVACUATIONS FOR SOME NEIGHBORHOODS. SHARON: NICOLE IS LIVE IN CALA MESA WITH THE LATEST. IN SIX HOURS AFTER THIS FIRE STARTED, MOBILE HOMES ARE STILL ON FIRE. JUST A SHORT TIME AGO I REMEMBER TAKING A LOOK FROM THE HELICOPTER AND SEEING THAT AMERICAN FLAG CENTER SCREEN. IT LOOKS LIKE A SAFE SPOT IN THE CENTER OF THE MOBILE HOME PARK. NOW THERE ARE SEVERAL MOBILE HOMES FULLY ENGULFED IN FLAMES. EARLIER TODAY IT WAS REALLY WATER DROPS AND FIRE RETARDANT DROPS ON THE VEGETATION. WATER ON THE HOMES WAS MAKING THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE. NOW THAT IT’S DARK, THE AIRFREIGHT HAS DIED DOWN AND THE GUYS ON THE GROUND WITH THE FIRE ENGINES AND HOSES ARE REALLY DOING WHAT THEY CAN TO PROTECT THESE HOMES. WE SPOKE WITH SOME HOMEOWNERS WHO SAID THEY ONLY HAD A MATTER OF SECONDS TO GET OUT. ONCE THE FIRE STARTED IN THE CORNER OF THE FIELD AND SPREAD TO ONE HOME, THOSE EMBERS WERE PICKING UP IN THE SANTA ANA WINDS AND GOING TO DOZENS OF OTHER HOMES IN THE PARK. ONE ELDERLY MAN SAID HE ONLY HAD A FEW MOMENTS TO GRAB AN OXYGEN TANK THAT HAPPENED TO BE ONLY PARTIALLY FULL AT THE TIME. HE SPENT THE TO HIS FAMILY’S HOUSE AND THEY HAVE A CALL IN FIRST RESPONDERS TO TRY TO GET TO ANOTHER LOCATION TO GET HIM THE OXYGEN HE NEEDED TO BE OKAY OUT HERE. HIS FAMILY MEMBERS STILL AREN’T CERTAIN IF THEY LOST THEIR HOME. WE DID SPEAK WITH THE YOUNG WOMAN NAME ROSIE WHO SAID SHE HAD ONE OF HER FRIENDS COME IN AND CHECK ON HER HOME. UNFORTUNATELY SHE GOT BAD NEWS. THERE’S NOTHING LEFT BUT A PILE OF ASH. THERE’S FIVE OF US THAT WE ARE JUST CAN HAVE TO TRY TO RELOCATE. ALL OUR CLOTHES, BELONGINGS, EVERYTHING WE HAVE IS GONE. WE ALSO SPOKE WITH A MAN WHO WORKS FOR THE PLANNING COMMISSION OUT HERE WHO SAID HE THOUGHT THE ROOF BETWEEN 20250 HOMES OUT HERE IN THIS MOBILE HOME PARK. HE HEARD AT LEAST 73 OF THEM BURNED DOWN. WE KNOW A LOT OF THEM IN THIS PARK HAVE MAJOR FIRE DAMAGE AND THERE’S A LOT OF PEOPLE TONIGHT WHO ARE WITHOUT A HOME TRYING TO GET THE RELATIVES WHO ARE ALSO NERVOUS BECAUSE WERE STILL GOING HAVE THESE WINDS OUT HERE UNTIL TOMORROW EVENING. WE ARE CONTINUING TO SEE FLAMES DIE DOWN AT CERTAIN TIMES THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT AND KICK BACK UP AGAIN. YOU WILL FEEL NEW MOBILE HOME CATCH FIRE SO THERE MIGHT BE SOME PEOPLE WHO THOUGHT THEY WERE SAFE AND THOUGHT THEY WERE IN THE CLEAR WHO NOW MIGHT BE LOOKING OUT HERE, FINDING OUT THAT THESE NEW MOBILE HOMES ARE ON FIRE. THE ONE OUT HERE ON THE FRONT OF THE SCREEN CAUGHT FIRE. WE KNEW IT WAS DOING ITS BEST

Just add this to the housing crisis. California invites everybody. Just won't build homes for them

They say a trash truck started the fire. Then Burrtec Trash Company can pay the damage.

Gov. Nuisance wants all non leftist, elitists out of Commiefornia & you bet your a$$ these fires aren't so "wild". Ask yourself why doesn't ANY nearby drier states EVER burn like this? He shuts the power off & the next day a wildfire starts. I don't believe in to many coincidences, the corruption is just about Mexico levels in Crazyfornia nowadays, sad is an understatement smh!
