My name is Lisa Dyson and I am the CEO
of Kiverdi. If you look at agriculture
as a whole, there’s been about 19 million
square miles cleared for agriculture and
that is equivalent to the size of South
America and Africa combined. So, if you
look at palm oil, we’re removing
rainforests so that we can have ice
cream. Kiverdi is making carbon
recycling profitable and we do that by
converting carbon dioxide, which is found
in the air, into oils and proteins which
are raw materials for everyday products.
So with this type of technology we won’t
need to clear rainforests in order to
make the raw materials for the products
and our kitchens and our bathrooms.
